Not possible. Filesystems do their own security. Novell FS don't use
"edirectory security", e.g it's not stored in eDir, but in the FS.
Similary, NTFS doesn't story it's security in AD either, but in the
filesystem itself. All you could do is sync the objects the FS security
works against, e.g users and groups between eDir and AD. But you still
have to manage the FS rights themself through the native filesystem
tools.

If you want SMB sharing, though, you could perhaps use something like CIFS
or Samba on OES 2 SP2 which exposes files via SMB (informally referred to
as "windows file sharing" though it is not limited to windows or file
sharing) and does the authentication and authorization within eDirectory
and NSS. It would mean running OES 2 SP2 boxes, though.
Good luck.

To add to the others, are you talking about machines that do not have a
novell client ? If so, you can do as AB says, use CIFS. Cifs can either
redirect the authentication to a DC or authenticate against eDir
without the need of a novell client.

You'll need to create a share from iManager under CIFS.
