4.11 server not talking to NDS / DS

I have an interesting problem, maybe someone out there can help me.
My 4.11 server has stopped talking to the NDS.
It does not have a replica, or is in the ring.
I can "see" the server in the network, yet I cannot access it via NDS,
when I try to access it, it wants a bindery login.
Q: How do I get it to start talking to the NDS again
help?

Have you done anything at all to diagnose the problem? Rebooted? Run a
dsrepair? Any clues about how this came to happen? Any errors or messages on
the console? What SP and DS version does it have?
