This is my problem. I am using both eDirectory and Active Directory. I
am syncing them up using DirXML. I am trying create a system to change a
users password through the Web using LDAP. I can change the password in
eDirectory just fine. However, when I change the password it is not
getting sent to the Active Directory server. If I change the password in
NWAdmin everything works. Any suggestions.....

Guessing that some attribute is not getting set when you do the change
via LDAP... you might want to post this in the dirXML forum.

This is working as designed!

When changing the eDirectory password on a Client, the client contacts the
Password Agent to change the password i AD, this is not done with LDAP.

A work aroud could be to use LDAP to both AD and eDir to set the password in
both directories.

Sorry for you.

http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/10071032.htm

"Changing the password with LDAP will not trigger password sync. A client
must be used. The client actually triggers the Password Sync component
(ref. http://www.novell.com/documentation/lg/pwdsync10/index.html)"

So. if you want to do this as described below then you will need to use
DirXML v2.0 (NSure Identity Manager 2.0).
