Guessing that some attribute is not getting set when you do the change
via LDAP... you might want to post this in the dirXML forum.

When changing the eDirectory password on a Client, the client contacts the
Password Agent to change the password i AD, this is not done with LDAP.
A work aroud could be to use LDAP to both AD and eDir to set the password in
both directories.

So. if you want to do this as described below then you will need to use
DirXML v2.0 (NSure Identity Manager 2.0).
