Just seeing if anyone here has had any luck with this.

We are running NW 6 with the NFA Pack for Mac, and eDir 8.6.2.

I just want to see if anyone has gotten this to work for the time being.

Thanks!

Follow the instructions on this page:

http://www.macosxlabs.org:16080/documentation/directory_services/details/novell/details/details.html

We have been able to use eDirectory to authenticate users and mount their
home directories as NFS mounts under OS X.

We are using Netware 6 SP3 with eDirectory 8.6.2. One of the issues we are
having is attaching to the LDAP server. We have the Root Certificate from
the server converted as needed.

When we try to do a SSL bind, we complete the handshake, however we get a
DoAbandon command through DS Trace.

Using a standard LDAP Browsing program, we can authenticate with SSL on port
636 and complete the handshake. When going though the login screen we do
not complete the authentication.

Any ideas? I can send a copy if the Dstrace log on Monday.

Thanks!

Hi,

I posted this same problem twice on this newsgroup (the last posting was 4 sept
2003)
We still have the same issue and any ideas for resolution would be good.

I have a copy of the DSTrace logfile that we are getting when trying to
authenticate. If anyone has any ideas on what to do to get this to work,
that would be great. It looks like we have the SSL Handshake working, but
we are just missing this one part.

Thanks!
