Current environment: mixed NW 5.1/6 tree. All with eDir 8.6.2.
Can I install eDir 8.7.3 on one of my NW6 servers and utilize the
universal password feature? Or do I have to introduce NW 6.5 in to the
tree?
From what I last understood before 8.7.3 was released, is that NW 6.5 AND
eDir 8.7.1 was required to utilize universal password. Thanks in advance!

Jeffrey,

You sure? UP is a function of the new NMAS which requires NW6.5, isn't i?

I am pretty sure. Look at the readme for Edir 871 on W2K---it talks about
universal password.

Yeah I have that TID,,,but I am almost certain a novell tech had mentioned
you can deploy UP in a non-netware tree.

Thanks guys. I am going assume NW 6.5 is a prerequisite. That's what
I've heard in the past. Better safe than sorry.
