Hello,
We are putting in a Metadirectory tree, and we want to incorporate our Unix platform which is using SunOne LDAP. Our unix administrator wants to do bi-directional synchronization with passwords. After looking at documentation on Novell DirXML 2.0 it looks like it is possible with the DirXML driver for LDAP. My question is has anyone been able to do this? If so, could I possibly get some help on how you did it.

Thanks

Actually, DirXML 2.0 and Password Sync 2.0 doesn't support bi-directional sync of passwords to LDAP directories.  Setting of initial passwords can be accomplished and password changes from eDir to LDAP are possible if the LDAP directory allows setting the userpassword attribute.

But it could be adjusted to work if you enable cleartext passwords on the SunOne directory...
