SUNOne DS --> NDS Bad event log record

I have a SUNOne DS version 5.2 publishing to eDIR 8.7.1 and every time
the DirXML driver hits a specific eventlog record I get a,

and the driver "dies" has anyone got a troubleshooting strategy,
solution or experience of this?

check your configuration values carefully.

i've had such errors when entering eg. a NDS DN in
LDAP format, and typed "CN=admin,O=corp"
instead of "CN=admin.O=corp". the distinction
between . and , sometimes makes the difference.

Hello Blake
I was reading your posting and noticed you are using SunOne and eDirectory. Are you synchronizing between these two directories, for example passwords? I would really appreciate any help you could give me, we are trying to implement a metadirectory and we want to have SunOne synchronize with eDirectory.
