Novell 5.1
GroupWise + WebAccess 6.5
We have a user that can access her mail if she is logged into the network.
But not if she is trying to use WebAccess.
I have tried all the usual: she has a password, the password has been
changed, single sign on (Her GWise account, tools, security) is also
selected.
In COne | user account | GroupWise tab | Change GWise password | Password
caching, Single sign on and eDir authetication are all selected.
Have also performed a GWcheck. Not structural rebuild, but Analyse/fix.
I have also compared her account with others that can use the webmail and
I cannot find any discrepancies.
Is there a TID over this problem? What can I do next?
Thanks
Colin

As I mentioned earlier, via ConsoleOne I changed the password and then
tried to login, to no avail. I even tried it through NWAdmin.

turn on verbose logging at the webaccess agent, and see what it says when
she tries to log in.
You didn't answer my question regarding "where" she's trying to log in from.
Is it on your local LAN, or is she on the Internet (eg. home)?

About where she is logging in from: I wasn't clear about it, I suppose.
its the Internet. In the LAN we use the Groupwise client, no prob. But

Ok, is there any possibility to try webaccess from within the LAN? This
would eliminate any potential proxy servers whe may be going through when
using her home internet provider.

I have the same problem. It dosn't matter where I start the webaccess (LAN
or Internet). I just get the message login failed on webaccess agent. When
I write a wrong password, the error message is "password is incorrect".

I'm stumped, then. You may have to open an incident with Novell on this if
no one jumps in with another suggestion. Sorry!

nothing helps.
Because I have thesame error on both webaccess machines I think it couldnt be a problem on the webaccess, I think it must be a problem on the master groupwise server (where the mta and po resides). But I have no more ideas. Deleting the users mailbox isnt a solution.
