Inbound mail, go the NETMAIL and then routed (using IMS configuration
tab on users property) to Groupwise system using the syntax
username@[10.0.0.7] that is specifying the GWIA IP address.
Now I would like to have my Groupwise acting as second inbound system
(MX 10 is NETMAIL, MX 20 should be Groupwise)
Of course, opening Gwise to the external word, I must setup the PREVENT
MESSAGE RELAYING on GWIA Access control page.
Here the problems started:
Every inbound mail received from Internet via NETMAIL (that in turn is
routed to a GWIA IPaddress) is refused by GWIA stating it is a relaying
condition.
DMN: will not relaying username@[10.0.0.7] [10.0.0.69].
Where 10.0.0.7 is the GWIA address specified on user IMS for forwarding
and 10.0.0.69 is the address of NETMAIL system.
It looks to me that in the GWIA ACCESS CONTROL EXCEPTION list I can't
specify IP addresses like *.[10.0.0.7] but only real name like
*.novell.com.
Were am I wrong??
Any suggestion?
Thanks
