When I use reject mail if sender's identity cannot be verified, my outlook express users behind the firewall cannot use GWIA for their SMTP server.  Their workstation names cannot be resolved.  They are in our internal DNS server.  Any way to get them to resolve?

No idea, but why on EARTH are you allowing them to use OE!! You have
HUGE gaping virus attack ports open with OE. Make them use the GW client.

Are you using Novell DNS? It seems to me that you could do dynamic DNS with
a naming scheme that would satisfy your GWIA?

I'm also wondering if you'd be better served to require a login for the
SMTP, which is easily done in OE? That works great for my family's GW
server (yes, I have one at home).

My CFO and myself use our home e-mail accounts when working at home and for
private correspondence.

If you are running GW 6.x or better, then enable POP3 and you can do ANY
e-mail from ANYWERE. Just get OE off your system, its chock full of
holes and is a certified virus spreader.
