At a remote site I've got someone who has a problem getting a client
intalled (Groupwise 6.0 SP2)

On an XP machine when the initial client was installed, the default
options to integrate or handle Word, Excel, etc. files was checked.

There was problems with that, so the Client was uninstalled (GW6).
After trying to reinstall the client without those settings checked,
the install starts, but before the first screen comes up to welcome
you to the client installation, it just gives us a blank box with the
only option to hit OK.

We can't get it installed at this point, even after a system restore.

I don't know if there's a tool to remove the 6 client like there was
with 5, but we can't get this install to run.

Any suggestions?

Thanx!

Brian

Turns out it was because it wasn't being installed from a mapped
network drive, but rather a UNC path...?
