I'm running GW6.5 on a NW6 SP3 server running Backup Exec 9.1 for NetWare.
I've got gwtsa running on one of our other servers as well; that server's
GroupWise domain/post office doesn't appear as a separate backup option
(i.e., even though the gwtsa is loaded, I still can only see the volumes).

In any event, I'm backup up the entire grpwise domain/post office
directories every night. Of course, it's showing dozens of entries as
backed while in use.

Am I safe to assume these files are reliably getting backed up?

What are the main files I should be backing up to make certain I can
restore a domain or post office?

As far as I know, GWTSA is only supported by ArcServe. You must use a
open file manager in your case (St. Bernard is the one...) This way you
can not be sure that your backup is reliable. For the time being you can
stop all GW agents before the backup and start them after the backup.

GWTSA is supported in Backup Exec, both v9.0 and v9.1

The TSA replaces the need for an open file manager, because it is
designed to interact directly with the groupwise agent/message store.

Ensure the ip address/serial number of you backup exec remote agent is
registered with your BE media server (BE9.0 edit ndpmsrvr.dat/BE9.1 on
server console/admin screen use About/Serial Numbers (INSERT KEY
etc...))

Ensure your gwtsa.ncf has the HOME-Vol:\grpwise\domain(or post off or
both) switch and then run that up.

Back to your media server, go to the JOBS menu and run UPDATE AGENT
LIST.

You groupwise resources should now be listed under BACKUP...

HTH!
