Hello,

I have ConsoleOne installed on my machine and I access two different Groupwise domains (in two different trees). When I want to switch Groupwise domains I am forced to click the cancel button on a login dialog box a zillion time (I'm not exaggerating... much). Then I can enter a new path to the Groupwise domain. Is there a way I can avoid the login dialog box?

Thanks
Lou

Which version of Groupwise? If it's 6.5, then there is a beta snapin that fixes that I beleive. I had that problem as well and this beta snapin solved it for me.

Hi Sylvain,

All my Groupwise systems are version 6. I'll look for the snapin and see if it will work for me.

Thanks
Lou

quick question too, are you connected to BOTH trees? (you probably are, just wanted to doublecheck)..

I can be connected to both trees... but that's not my preferred method. To be connected to both trees I have to connect through a slow vpn connection.

I wasn't able to find any beta snapins.... can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks
Lou

When I tested my GW6.5 installation (not installed yet, just waiting for the good time to install), I had the exact same problem. I didn't want to connect to my live tree but the snapins endlessly wanted to.

Here's the path to the interim (May 6) snapins for Groupwise 6.

Here's the path to the FTF (June 18) snapins for Groupwise 6

Here's the path to the beta (June 9) snapins for Groupwise 6.5. I beleive the snapins can also manage a 6.0 system.

I would recommend you try the first and see if it works then works your way down the list...

I was suffering this annoyance too, until someone pointed out that
snapin settings are saved in C:\Documents and
Settings\<username>\.consoleone\SnapinPrefs.ser By deleting this file
the gw snapin immediatly asks the path to your domain.
