Is GW651b a real patch?

We have been having significant problems on GW 6.5, both client and server.
We upgraded to SP1 a while back, and then I noticed that SP1b was out. I
downloaded and installed this patch.

The strange thing is that the NLM dates on the agents and most of the file
dates on client havent changed. The client revision hasnt changed at all.

Is SP1b that much different than SP1? I have been supporting GW for several
years and have never seen a situation where a support pack didnt rev the
client version.

Just FYI - Some of the issues we are seeing include:
1. Client inability to use caching mode.
2. Delays in message reads
3. History in the contact list fails on about 90% of my clients (and causes
a GW client failure)

Anyone who can clarify the GW patch issues would be appreciated. I just
feel like I may have applied a patch that did nothing.

Josh

SP1b is indeed a "real" patch, but very few files changed. It was released
to fix a specific problem with WebAccess. All other parts are identical to
SP1/SP1a

Sorry... forgot to add: as for these issues, have you tried the latest beta
SP2 client? Just to see if it resolves some/any of these.

SP1 is the major change, SP1a only has a couple changes to fix a bug in
webaccess that SP1 had introduced

Try SP2 beta, it worked for me, I live in caching mode with SSL over the net...

Normally caused by some kind of UDP problem, NW6 SP3 without any TCP patches and
a B57/Q57 LAN card are typical causes

SP2 again.
