Good afternoon,
Novell 5.5 server running Groupwise 6, SP1.
Client has a rule set up that has been working.
The rule is to forward mail to his aol account from our Groupwise.
Suddenly, it stopped working. Nobody has changed anything.
The only thing that WAS missing from the rule was the TO: address.
I set that rule up again, plus added several other rules to cover all
aspects of the addressing. Still no messages forwarding.
Is this a known issue? I've been searching the knowledge bases and have
not found anything yet.
Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Adam K.

Adam,

a bit hard to troubleshoot without knowing the rules. I'd delete all rules, set up one rule and see if it
works again before setting up more rules.
Also make sure your Internet agent allows rule generated messages.

Uwe

Hi Uwe,
Thank you for your reply.
What I found was that there were messages in the SENT folder that
indicated the mail was forwarded and sent.
The AOL client just never received them.
Will look towards more possibilities.
Thanks again,
Adam

Hey, I think it was already complicated enough without this :-)

Any chance to check the GWIA log files from the dates where the messages should have been
sent?
