I was advised to rebuild the PO database fix this but it has had no effect.
The rebuild was certainly valid as it cleared out some old addresses, but it
did nothing re the dist lists. I have given it a couple of days to sync
through.
Any further advice appreciated. GW6SP3/NW6SP3.

From your description the GW store copy is correct, but the NDS copy is not.
