As the GroupWise administrator, I have been asked by an employee's
supervisor to open the employee's GroupWise account. The employee has a
password set on his GroupWise account.

Is there anyway to see what is in the account without clearing the
employee's GroupWise password?

Nope. Imagine the security issues if it were so.

Restore a backup of the post office or make one

If you permit Direct Mode life will be easier:

With direct mode, use standalone gwcheck, reset client options to clear
password and connect via direct mode.

Without, clear the password, and then load another GWPOA with a switch to
override it's default listening port, and connect that way.
