GroupWise's ActiveX Address Book, Calendar, and rich email

It is really very difficult to get necessary information on GW's ActiveX
source codes.

I tried to download Admin Object API package off Novell's website but got
error message. No one in my dept know how to bypass it. And I do not know
which forum is appropiate to post this.

I have to pry here and ask tech in the community forum to help me point to
the codes or post script here.

What I need to know is:

1. How to get selected date from GW_calendar and retrieve appointments
information into value for VBA or VB.?

2. How to get selected name and phone number off GW_address_book into
value for VBA or VB?

3. How to send html or data in rich text instead of plain text using
Groupwise from VBA or VB?

This is both the wrong newsgroup and wrong newsserver (developers have a
separate newsserver - see developer.novell.com)

A few tips

1. Don't bother with the ActiveX controls, unless you need the look and
feel. Of them, only the Address Book and Name Completion are supported. Much
richer APIS in object api
2. None of the Admin APIS are relevant.
3. Rich text requires either RTF or UNICODE. Direct HTML without severe
tweaks isn't possible.
4. You have a bigger task than you think - getting appointments, depending
on what you need is easy but requires several passes.
