Hi There,
When I create a library in Console (GW 6.0.2, Console 1.3.3, Netware
5), should the library be instantly visible to clients, appearing as a
library? On the client, I'm finding I have to create a find results folder
to be able to see the library from a user perspective. Is this normal? I'd
love it if the library appeared in the client as a resource on the left.

I assume you found that it shows up eventually?

Actually no. I just reading on it, coming to the conclusion I have to
create find results folders in order to see the library. Is it really
supposed to show up on the left for the client, allowing them to access it
if they have rights? If that's the case, it doesn't for me. I can see only
if through a find.

This amy be related to my libraries being messed up, giving me C06A
errors, and pushing me to send the NGWGUARD.DB and WPHOST.DB files to
Novell. Perhaps when I get them back, I'll see them then?

Oh - no - it doesn't show up in the mailbox automatically - you do have
to make a search folder for them - but it shows up when you "search"
and when you save, et.

Hi. Might I suggest a great and ONLY book on the topic of GW DMS -you will
find it at www.caledonia.net/catalog.html -the title is: Success with
GroupWise Document Management .

This will be a valuable resource for you as you continue your roll out of
DMS.

Good luck and have fun
