Message times using Groupware type library

I am trying to access Groupwise (5.5) e-mail messages from Visual
Basic (6) using the Groupware type library.

I have previously used the MAPI interface, which defines a message to
have "TimeSent" and "TimeReceived" properties as well as "TimeCreated"
and "TimeLastModified".

However, I need to see messages that have been archived by Groupwise,
and it seems to me that I must use the Groupware type library for this
purpose. Unfortunately, the Groupware type library only seems to
expose "CreationDate" and "ModifiedDate" properties for a message.

So I have two questions:
a) Do I really have to leave the MAPI interface in order to access
Groupwise archived e-mails?
b) How can I retrieve the sent and received times of e-mails via the
Groupware type library?

I'll be very grateful for any help!
