Notify does not work

Hi,

I'm running GroupWise 5.5.5
I got an application sending email to users (helpdesk app).
All the recipients got GW Notify running. If they recieve an new message
from the internet or an other GroupWise user Notify works.
But if they get an message from the application Notify does not work. If
i check the GroupWise client i can see the new application (mail) message.

Looks like the helpdesk app is sending the message using the Windows
messaging system. (Does not look like its using SMTP)

Any one ?

There is an attribute to th email message that tells notify to inform
the user. The GW client can do this the other way, ie send a mail which
doesn't notify the user. My guess is that your interface doesn't set
this. Probably the easiest fix would be to send thru the smtp gateway,
which by default will notify.
