We are running 3 different Groupwise 5.5 sp5 PO's on three Netware 5.1
sp6 servers in three different domains and I just noticed that NDS user
syncronization that you can set up in NWadmin but choosing "system
operations", "NDS user syncronization", is disabled on all three domains.
All three are set up to syncronize to one of the other domains, but like
I said, this is all disabled. Is this something I should think about
enabling on all of the domains? Thanks
if you edit NDS without using NWAdmin with Groupwise Snapins, yes. Else no.
E.g. we have local workgroup managers who have the right to change phone number, location etc. on the user
objects. Since they don't have rights to the Groupwise databases and don't have an NWAdmin with GW snapins,
these changes need to be brought into the Groupwise databases. Either I synchronize manually from time to
time, or I have NDS user synchronisation do it for me over night.
