Trying to set up a filter exception to allow traffic to a work site
that users login to check mail.

url is https://<url>:88

I've tried a stateful exception allowing port 88 outbound, as well as a
non stateful one outbound and a response one inbound.

Any suggestions as to how I can get this going through my BM server?

TIA,

Stevo

If you want the proxy to use that port, you need to make the exception
from public to public interfaces. And you need to use URL-based rules,
not HTTP/port 80 rules (access rules).

If you want to bypass proxy, and allow the traffic via NAT, you need to
have filter exceptions from private to public interfaces.

I change the defaults quite a bit - described in the advanced chapter
of my filtering book.
