While working on filters for DHCP traffic I came across a bug in imanager. Apparently imanager does not appreciate the multicast address of 255.255.255.255. It complains it is invalid. I was able to get the filter setup using filtcfg. I then checked the new filter in imanager and it did show the correct multicast address.
Novell if you are watching/reading please pass this onto the development team.

There is a bug in iManager filtering where it will not allow you to use network addressing at all. I'm guessing this is just a special case of that bug. Novell is aware of it.
