I'm having some trouble with Firefox (any version) on BM 9.2, both through proxy or when bypassing proxy.  The trouble is that some pages will load with no images, bad formatting, or video won't play.  It all works mostly fine under IE.  Any ideas?

BM 3.9? What service pack? What patch level on NetWare?

What version of IE?

Check your patches against tip #1 at the URL below. Check tuning per
tip #23. Try the proxy.cfg file from tip #63.

Firefox works fine for me through 3.8 and 3.9.

BM 3.9 SP2
NW 6.5 SP8
IE 6 or 7

I've had this same problem even with earlier versions of BorderManager and NW 6.5.

I'm sure that I've tried those tips, but I'll review them and verify.

I just reread - if you're having problems when bypassing proxy, it
sounds like a client-side issue is causing Firefox not to work
correctly. (Virus? Firewall?)

seen some issues with firefox's compression support under BM, although
admittedly not under a version that recent (problems here were on the
last version we ran in-house, 3.8)

do you want to try this?

in firefox, on a machine exhibiting this problem, go into about:config
and locate network.http.accept-encoding - the default values are
"gzip, deflate" - delete this and set it to an empty string, and see if
the problem goes away.
