It appears that there is a known bug with aclcheck, and Novell is working
on a patch. Gonzalo has emailed a newer test version to people recently.
If he doesn't jump in here, try using the feedback link on Novell's web
site to ask for a debug aclcheck on this. (Unless you can just open an
incident on this).

I would assume that the patch is intended to be used with SP2. I'd
certainly patch to sp2 myself, and see what happens. Easy enough to
backrev.
