I know there is a way to set the time elasped before the FTP server
unloads, but is there a parameter that can be set so that it doesn't
unload? Or is it better to keep it this way?

I get an e-mail from BorderManager Alert every time any of our 7
school's FTP or other NLM is loaded and unloaded and it can be annoying
especially if teacher's are FTP-ing files between home and school at
night.

If I'm correct, and my guess I remember this right:
Set the timeproperty to -1
Set the timeproperty to -1
That should keep it loaded.
