Sorry to cross post--I tried to get as close to topic as I could. I
know Novell has no MacOS client but why no forum? We are after all
Novell users too!

How, oh how, do I connect my MacOS 9 machines to my Novell 5.0 servers
in an IP only environment? Any and all ideas are gratefully accepted!
I can't even get FTP to work with Novell although it's possible (but
kludgy) with other servers.

There IS a Macintosh forum, don't know how you missed it. AFAIK there is no
IP only solution for you yet. Novell is working on AFP for IP right now,
beta due early next year.
