NDPS failing to load

I have recently upgraded a user to Novell Client 3.21 and he now gets
this message on boot "Failed to load NDPS (nlm's) NDPS support will be
disabled".

disabled".
The user can click OK to continue, but it would be nice to get rid of
the message. Also I need to have NDPS working for the user.
User has a IBM Thinkpad running Win95.
