cannot access to DOS with window ME

Hi,

I just bought a brand new Toshiba laptop with windows ME. Everything
was working perfectly until I installed netware client 3.30. The
problem I have is that when I open the DOS window, the prompt doesn't
show and the DOS window freezes. I uninstalled Novell and reinstalled
it again with exactly the same result. I have some applications that
runs with DOS so is there a way to solve this problem? Any clue would
be very appreciated.
