Slightly OT: NetWare 3.2 backup problem

Firstly, I apologise: I know this is a NW5 forum, but the
nw3.serverbackup forum hasn't had a post in 4 months, so I don't know
if there's anyone listening :/

I have a customer who is running two NW3.2 servers. They are both
reasonably new Compaq servers (less than 12 months old), and they've
been migrated from older hardware in the past. They've never abended,
which is why we can't get the customer to upgrade :)

Both server are running ArcServe 6.1, and back up to Compaq DAT drives
every weeknight. However, one of the servers skips the job on a Monday
night, and runs a job on the Saturday instead. It's as if the job is a
day out - running Tuesday to Saturday instead of Monday to Friday.

It looks very much like a Y2k leap-year bug, but both servers are
patched up to date, and both are running identical software - but only
one exhibits the problem. Typing "time" at the server prompt brings
back the correct date and time. There's nothing else on the servers:
they run file, print and ArcServe, and that's it.

The work-around is to run the job a day out too, but I'm determined to
crack this one. Can anyone help?
