Ever since moving our tape library from our ARCServe 7 for Netware
backup server(on a NetWare 5 server) to our new ARCServe 2000 backup
server (on a Windows 2000 server), any merge I try receives the
following error message: "3801 - Invalid Session Header Signature".
Apparently this has something to do with the block size set on the
drive. I have tried merging tapes with block sizes set to both 32k and
16k with the same results. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Would installing SP3 for ARCServe 2000 fix this? I have been hesitant
to install it since I've heard a lot of problems associated with it.
Any help very much appreciated.
