We recently had a problem with one Novell 4.11 server in the tree that
had a corrupted database. The server was taken offline and will be
reinstalled, however, we started to notice on another production server
in the tree the following user account problems:

1. When an existing user had logged off and relogged in you get
the error" system could not log you onto the network" or
"login denied, someone has attempted to access your account by
guessing passwords"

2. Or the user will get a simultaneous connection error message, we
then have to clear the connections manually at the server console

I do suspect a corrupt database and we will run dsrepair with the -n1
switch. Are there are other suggestions as to what's causing this
problem and how do we fix it. Thank you for your assistance.
