We have some CD-R's that contain copy invoices and I want to mount it
on our 3.12 server so everyone can have acccess, but I get the error
message 'unable to create a new directory block' when it gets to 51%.

I can mount commercial CD's or Backups of Commercial CD's that are on
CD-R's.

The CD that won't mount is 488.8Mb. I've searched th Knowledge base
and found 1 article with this error message but does not apply.

Any help would be welcolme.

John Pike.

Hi John,

NetWare 3.x does not support any long file names, which I think is your
problem. You may have to share the CD-ROM via the M$ drive sharing option.
<sigh>

Andrew,

<shaking head> We were talking about that and I made the mistake that the
subject would stay the same. <sigh> Leave it to another SysOp to point out
that once again I can make an ambigious statement that can be take more than
one way. <LOL>
