Turning on Full Duplex, Intel E100 Pro Server adapter

Thanks for you help--I am still working on this problem. Apparently it
has not yet been solved. This was a good suggestion however. Is there
anything else that you might be able to suggest?

Apparently, all the workstations are working on full duplex as
indicated by the lights on the network hub, all except for the server.

Furthermore, they have replaced the hub with a 3com switch and they
have tried to force full duplex thru the switch. When they forced full
duplex thru the switch the link shut down entirely.

Is it possible to reincarnate this thread? It has been a while since I
first posted it--and it looks like I will need to travel next week to a
particularly unpleasant part of the world to try and fix this problem.
I hope to have a bunch of stuff in my bag to try when I get there.
