NW 3.2 NIC Card Dies...

The NIC Card dies if i transfer data via NT machine however other work
stations (98/95) work fine. Is this a question for Microsoft?? hmmmmm

Yes

If I were to run virus scan on the server from a workstation or install
server based apps from a workstation it craps out. It could be bad
card. I plan to replace it but was wondering if something else was
causing it.

OK -- could well be the NIC, or the cabling to the NIC, or the hub/switch.

Can you describe the configuration here?

supporting, etc.?

What is the network card installed on the server?

What driver are you running for that card? And version of it?

What frame types are running on the server?

What version of ethertsm.nlm?
What version of msm31x.nlm?
What version of nbi31x.nlm?
