hi,

sorry to post in this forum but i don't find novell 3.12 forum.

perhaps someone will solve my problem.

i have the following problem.

i must upgrade the file msm31x.nlm ( network's file) but this file is
loaded and unmodify when i try to replace using a client connection.

i must also unload this file on the novell server.but i can't replace it
by a novell client.

how copy a file from a floppy disk into SYS:SYSTEM without using a novell
client?

thanks

regards

franck,

You posted to a dead newsgroup which is no longer part of the official
Novell support hierarchy. I suggest you visit
http://support.novell.com/forums and post to one of the official
Novell newsgroups.

You can copy the file to the server's "C" drive and load it in the autoexec.ncf
by using:
load c:\server.312\msm31x.nlm
you will also need the ethertsm.nlm and a couple others, as I remember.
