Adaptec 2940 in Netware 3.2 server

Hello,

I am replacing a 1542 card with a 2940 card to implement a tape backup
unit (Seagate, not sure the specs) in a Novell Netware 3.21 server. I
am not entering the command line parameters properly.

This is the situation, I load the aic7870.dsk driver from the
startup.ncf file with no parameters and it locks up. After doing some
research, it seems that I need to put

load c:\server.312\aic7870.dsk slot=x

in the startup.ncf file to get the driver to properly initialize. Are
there other command parameters I need? Is there an easy way of
determining the slot it is in? Am I completely missing something?
