I've inherited some 3.11 and 3.12 machines which were configured by
people who are long gone, and now I get to play Columbo.
Thanks,
Mike
The default script will not map volumes in addition sys.

The users do not have individual login scripts, or at least this is what SYSCON tells me. When
I go to look at the login script for any user, it tells me "Logon script does not exist".
Where should I now look for a script? I'm also interested in finding where any group login
scripts are located since the login behavior is affected by which group they belong to, i.e.,
path settings, drive mappings, etc.
Thanks again,
Mike
The default can be accessed via the syscon utility. Each individual may have
a login script as well and that is accessed through the syscon utility also.
No drives are mapped unless they are done so in a login script (except for
the normal defaults)

Found it! Oddly enough, the system login script does not end with EXIT,
yet it executes.
Can you tell me where the system login script file itself is located? I'd
imagine it's in the SYS somewhere. I'd like to be able to edit it outside
of syscon if I can help it.
Thanks!
Mike

It's in the public directory. NET$LOG.DAT
You're right. I meant the system login script. Net$log.dat <sigh>
