What will happen to the Betrieve Database

Our intention is to upgrade from 4.11 to 5.1.

I saw that it is recommended to uninstall v2.6 then reinstall v2.7,
prior to the 5.1 upgrade, is that correct?

We are currently running Betrieve v6.10f, once we install 5.1 it should
be upgraded to version 7.0?! Shouldn't we then install/reinstall MW?
Do we have to reinstall the same version or can we jump up to 2.7? Will
we lose any data?

Ant detailed comments or any new TID's ... are greatly appreciated.

Jmordente,

I'd uninstall the 2.6, upgrade to NW5.1 then re-install 2.7. As you mention, the btrieve versions are
different, as are the management agents.
