I am trying to setup win98 machines with the 32bit agent9x (mine is dated
11/15/99). It seems that agent9x is very much NOT getting along with
something on these machines and I cant quite pinpoint it. Is Directx 7.0a a
potential culprit? The SoundMax sound card requires it, probably the Intel
85815 Video controller does also. Anyway, when agent9x is loaded it causes
a huge amount of shutdown problems, and problems with realmon.exe. If I end
agent9x before shutting down, the whole system will either crash or just
lock. I have tried 4 different machines, all with the same results. WUser
doesn't cause the problems, but the control window won't refresh when
controling the workstation. Is the remote control for ZenWorks any less
touchy on the brand of video cards in the target workstation???
