Populating the "To:" field from Access97

The following script has gotten me to the point
that I can click on an already typed in email
address and a new GroupWise message comes up but
it does not populate the "To:" like it is
supposed to. It works with Outlook Express but
not GroupWise.

Private Sub EmailAddress1_Click()
DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, , ,
[EmailAddress1]
End Sub

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I
would think it's probably something easy but I am
fairly new at this so I am still learning.
