GW 5.2, Office XP and Windows 2000/XP

Every so often when you are typing a mail message in GroupWise the most of
the text you have typed is replaced by either the name of a day of the week
or a month of the year.

There are definitely no viruses around as we have done various clean
installs on both Windows XP professional and Windows 2000 Server (as a
Terminal Server) and the problem still occurs.
We do intend to upgrade GW at some point, but this is not an option right
now.
I have also tried using the various compatibility modes in Windows XP, but
this makes no difference.
