Remote Synchronization Error

Hello,
First off I'd like to say I have minimal experience with Novell
products, but I am an experienced computer user. I'm trying to help a
friend with a problem he is having while connecting to the Master
Mailbox of the GroupWise software.
There are 4 identical computers that connect to their server
which has GroupWise on it. The 4 computers have GroupWise 5.5 clients
installed on them. Two of the computers are in their office and 2 are
in each of their homes. The ones in the office work without any
problems. One of the computers that connects remotely to their
network at their office through a dial-up modem has no problems with
any synchronization. The other, the one I'm attempting to fix is
having issues. We are able to send new email messages, tasks, but are
unable to retrieve new email messages from the server. We get a d11b
error, and there are definitely not 5000 items (unless some are
hidden) we are working with. Also this problem started to occur about
a week ago, the program has worked well for a few years otherwise. I
looked through the Novell KB and was unable to find anything that
would help out. I read something about the GWCHECK utility but was
unable to find it, and I don't know how to use it. If anyone had any
suggestions or possible solutions I would greatly appreciate the help.
