I have noticed a problem with GW 5.5.4 on Windows 2000 that I makes no
sense. Maybe someone here can provide an answer. According to
Novell, GW uses the .pwl files in Windows 95/98 to store passwords.
That file doesn't exist in Windows 2000 so theoretically GW should not
be able to store and save passwords. I have seen on a few systems,
all GW5.5.4/Windows 2000 where the user doesn't get prompted for a
password. Where or how is GW storing and getting its password?

Another thing that I have noticed is that I logon to the computer as
User1 and use a switch to start GW so that I can access User2's
account(/@u=User2). I remove the switch (still logged on as User1)
and GW still tries to access User2's account. I can log off and logon
as User1 again but GW retains the User2 username somewhere. I have to
use "/@u=User1" in order to get GW to work for User1 again. I hope
this makes sense to someone and that someone can tell me where this
info is getting stored (in memory?) BTW- the "No password required
with NDS checkbox is not checked.

Thanks in advance!
