Help... GW 5.5 SP4

I have a couple of users who are having problems with their archive folder
and would like to burn to a CD... for many reasons.

Our ISU do not support the archive function and have requested we print all
our e-mails and attachments (They hate trees) .

Having played some what in this area, and having an archive system and rule
that works they have come to me for support...

All have suggested that they would like to separate their existing archived
mail by year, and
I would like to know if any one has a clean way of doing this... Our systems
delete all mail over 90 days old.

As I understand it as end users we have one option listed below....

1: Open Archive - Sort by date - Unarchive (way too many files) - set up
new archive dir - Sort by date - re archive. Repeat until done .... Note
tried this and our clients shut down if you unarchive more than 20 - 30
e-mails in one hit.

It would be great if the method below or similar would work ....
2: Split the contents of the archive folder (by date / time stamp) move to
new folders ( 2000,2001,2002) and have GW5.5 rebuild the index etc etc

I await you sugestions and guidance..

The newsgroup you are posting to is no longer part of the official Novell
support hierarchy. I suggest you post to one of the novell.support.*
newsgroups instead. You will be more likely to get a reply.
