My environment : NW5.1 NDS8.59 servers running SLPDA with named scoped
(not unscoped).
NT 4 servers running NDS CE and domain migrated in NDS.
NT server have a replica (Master) of the partition that hosts the
server object, the partition is also replicated (RW) on NW servers.
Client32 on NT servers configured with IP address of NetWare DA and
scope.
Now for the problem :
The NT servers register correctly in the scope the following services
when they boot : bindery.novell, ndap.novell and smdr.novell.
But after a few days the records disappear, especialy the
bindery.novell service.
This is annoying because I can't administer those servers easily from
remote locations because I can't see the server in the scope.
I've tried to set the bindery.novell as static but it still disappears.
Any idea ?
Marc

SLP is not something NDS CE did very well. Take a look at TID
#10024588 for some generic SLP troubleshooting steps. In the meantime,
let me do a little bit of research on this one.

Yes on the client side everything is Ok. It is just the bindery.novell
records for the NDS CE servers that disappear from the scope.

It's 4.6.x (the one that comes with NDS CE for NT).

I don't have to control the NT boxes remotely, I only administrate the
corporate NDS, the NT boxes are administrated locally.
Thanks for your help.

and then you just said:

In any case, try updating the client to 4.71. If you had the
eDirectory update for Corporate Edition, it would require you to have
the 4.7 series of the client. At least try it on one of the servers
experiencing this problem.
