We have had a win2000 server added to our network recently. Our
network consists of several servers all running NW4.11 We only have
about 5 of our employees using the win2000 server. The users turn on
their PCs, log into Netware, and their PCs try to map a drive to the
win2000 server. It usually works just great, until Netware forces them
to change their password. When this happens, they are prompted for
their old password to map a drive to the win2000 server. I would like
to keep forcing them to change their passwords every 180 days, and
somehow synchronize their win2000 password with their new Netware
password. Is this easily accomplished? What do I need for a task like
this? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
--Dan

Dan,

At this time, I'm not aware of any password synchronization utility for
Win2K and NDS. Perhaps look into Novell's Single Sign-on product.
Novell is expected to release a add-on to the NDS Account Management to
provide integration with Windows 2000 running Active Directory.

Good Luck,

P-Synch can synchronize Win2K and NDS passwords (among many others).
You can find out more at http://psynch.com/
