My computer always used to beat me at chess, but it is no match for me
now I changed the competition to kick boxing

Now if I can only convince "them" that if it was in the budget for
Spring, I should still be able to use it in the fall.

Ok, so this brings up the question of 2012. Are they really going to
have one in October, and then another in March?

Probably way too early to tell, but I'd assume things will stay in the
latter half of the year perpetually. I imagine if there is input on the
pros/cons of either time now would be a good time to submit that feedback
via whatever method you deem best, probably starting with the 'Contact Us'
link on the Novell Brainshare website: http://www.novell.com/brainshare/
Good luck.
