clients making ipx conection

HI,
I have netware5.1 network and two bordermanager servers3.5 . Problem
is if user in the same container login and he makes ip gateway
connection in novell gateway service and if one BM server goes down he
find out the second sever and make ip conection in gateway with the
runing server. if user from different container login he makes ipx
connection with the BM servers and if I specify any preffered server
with full context name then its work and clients make ip connection
with the specified server but problem is if the specified server goes
down they are not making any kind of ip /ipx connection with running
server.
I tried all kind of test but i can't solve that fail over process its
work for users who are in same container but not works with different
container users . Please help me

hi,
did yout ry to specify only the server name (no full context) or no
server at all in the IP gateway configuration of the client?

yes I tried to put only server name and no name and client start
making ipx connection.

I am not sure I understand exactly your problem.
Are you bothered by the fact that if one of the two servers goes down
the client doesn't automatically find the second gateway or that the
client uses a licensed connection to your BM server?
In this second case it depends on the client version you are using. You
should use at least client 3.1+sp2.
